  2. Ryan and Allie – I recently learned of your story at NECC and was so touched. You guys have shown true patience, grace and most importantly a real trust in God. Grey is such a miracle and is a strong fighter already! Two years ago, my husband and I welcomed our daughter at 34 weeks. Even though she only had to spend 3 weeks in the NICU, reading your story absolutely takes me right back to when she was born. It can be a very scary time, but also such a blessed and hopeful time. I pray for continued growth and development for Grey and that she can continue to hit her milestones. God bless you all!

  7. Stumbled upon your blog via Instagram.
Your family and sweet baby Grey will be in my prayers. My heart is with you. May you continue to feel Gods amazing presence as you travel this challenging journey.

  9. On August 11th our triplets will turn 21 years old. They’re in excellent health and just completed their second year of college. They were born at 32 weeks and weighed 3.3, 3.4 & 3.12. Taylor was in the NICU for 3 months and Annie & Cody for two months. We we’re going through many of the same challenges you’re going through today regarding lung development. Many medical advances have been made in the last 20 years and I know your little girl will grow up healthy and strong. God Bless.

  10. I am also with Baxter and my wife gave birth to a beautiful little girl at 26 weeks flat 1lb 14oz a little more than a year ago. We spent 13 hard weeks in N.I.C.U. after a year she is doing great. The road ahead will not be an easy one, do all you can to keep calm. N.I.C.U. clinicians are very special people and will take very good care of your little girl. My family and I will keep you in our prayers and we will put in prayer requests at our local church. We could not have made it through as we did without all the prayers and support. Seeing that the PDA is closed already and the PICC line placed successfully is huge. I will continue to pray and hope your ride through this is smoother than ours was. God Bless.

  11. I’m a Baxter Rx Rep in Los Angeles and had a 27 week preemie 18 years ago who just graduated from high school and is preparing to go to University of Arizona. It’s great having wonderful doctors and nurses to care for precious Grey but the power of prayer transcends everything! It’s wonderful that you’re faith is getting you through this difficult time because love and prayers got me through those tough times. Know that I’m praying for all of you! I am truly blessed to have my daughter and during those difficult times I always had faith, love and hope! My girl was in NICU two months’ and we definitely had a few setbacks a long the way but she is healthy today!!

  12. Gateway Regional Medical Center Pharmacy is praying for your family. It is heartwarming to see you post your blessings. We will be thinking of you on the rough days and praising with you on the good ones. We are also praying for the physicians and clinical staff who are caring for Grey so that God works through them to be able provide what she needs.

  13. in a cynical world it becomes cliche to say I am praying for you. However, in times like the one you are dealing with there is no doubt that the power of prayer and having others pray for you helps in such a real and powerful way. That being said, the young couples class of North Cleveland Church of God will be praying that God blesses your precious baby and you and your family during this time. When you are weak, He is strong (2 Cor 12:9).

  14. My husband Brent and I heard your story at Northeast this morning, and I wanted to share our Christian love and support to you both at this time. We too had a preemie, at 25 weeks, so we can empathize with the journey you are on. Taylor is now 3 and a half, and despite her early arrival she has grown to be a smart, sweet and incredibly feisty little girl. I also wanted to let you know that I am here if you ever want to talk to another NICU parent. Our thoughts are with your family, and we pray that God will continue to hold Grey in the palm of his hand.

  15. I don’t know you but I know Cindy…and my heart goes out to you as 10 and a half yrs ago we walked this journey of Bedrest, HELLP, emergency C and a 1# 12 oz at 28 wks. We will keep in prayer for baby Grey…and for strength for you and your families through out this journey!

  16. I don’t know you, but wanted to let you know miracles happen. My daughter Ava was born at 24 weeks gestation back on February 5th. She weighed only 445 grams/ 15.5 oz. She was born via emergency c section due to me having HELP syndrome. We were in the NICU for 137 days and just came home June 21st. Your story is so similar to Ava’s and if you have any questions I would be more than willing to help in any way I can. I am praying for your family.
